CAD support provided range from CAD drafting and design services, AutoCAD conversions, layouts, and 2D & 3D drawings.  When required, attribute use and extraction are used.  The drawing applications range from construction, facility layouts, capacity planning, patent, mechanical, electrical, schematics, flow and conversion of manual drawings to CAD data.

Lean (Lean, 5s 7 VSM) CAD documentation support works concurrently with both CAD, and Facilities & BIM.  Existing CAD documentation is used to create accurate flow, process, planning, value stream mapping, 5s and other Lean processes.  With methodology developed through projects over the past 6 years, pertinent information can be accessed direct from within the created CAD documentation.

Facilities & BIM (Building Information Modeling) CAD support is a very important planning tool for expansions, new equipment installations, equipment relocations, WIP (Work In Process), FG (Finished Goods), work flow, building documentation and capacity planning.  As with Lean, methodology the teams at Penrod Services and Carolina CADWorks used creates accessible information within CAD data.  This information can range from construction phases and dates, process times (takt & cycle times), construction as built drawing data, RFQ’s, maintenance data to equipment data.

Project management support ranges from vendor and contractor search, RFP and RFQ packages, research, bench marking, standards for budgetary means to support capital projects.  This can and does include SOW (Scopes of Work), RAISC (Matrix of Responsibilities), WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) for project budget tracking to project changes.  Different software is used from CAD, word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, and database applications.
